Send audio from a browser

Use the web agent to send your room's sound from a browser tab, with nothing to install.

The web agent sends your room's sound to InterScribe from a browser tab. There is nothing to install, so it suits a one-off session or a computer you do not own. For a room you use every week, the desktop agent keeps working without anyone at the computer.

Steps

  1. STEP 1Open the web agent

    In the Portal, go to Rooms & audio → Agents, select Set up an agent, then Just the browser, and open the web agent. Do this on the computer that hears the room, in Chrome, Edge or Safari.

  2. STEP 2Sign in and pick the channel
    Sign in with your InterScribe account. Choose the room's channel and allow the microphone.
  3. STEP 3Keep the tab open
    Leave the tab open for the whole session.
  4. STEP 4Test it
    On the Agents tab, select Test audio on its card before the session, speak and watch the meter move.
