“What did I miss?” recaps

Listeners who join late or come back after a break can ask for a short AI summary of the last ten minutes, written from the captions.

Before you start

• Your plan includes “What did I miss?” recaps. Without it, the switch is locked. If your plan changes and no longer includes recaps, they stop at once, even where the switch is still on.

What listeners see

While the session is live, a listener who joined late sees Joined n min in, and one who was away sees You were away n min, each with Catch up. The recap is also in the More menu as Catch up on what you missed.

The recap opens as The last 10 minutes, with the note Written by AI from the captions. It can miss things.

When no recap appears

• It was mostly music in the last 10 minutes. or Not much was said in the last 10 minutes.: there was little to summarize.
• You can catch up again in a few minutes.: the listener asked recently.
• Recap unavailable right now: try again later.
• No Catch up at all: the session is not live, the switch is off, or the plan does not include recaps.

Ask AI

The same section has Ask AI: signed-in listeners ask about what was said and get short answers that point to the moment it was said. You see the questions, not who asked them. Your plan decides whether it is available.
