When a caption should not have gone out, you can remove it from the Console. It disappears for every listener, in every language, and leaves the transcript and the export.
Steps
- STEP 1Find the captionIn the Console's transcript, point at the caption, or select its line with the keyboard.
- STEP 2Ask to remove itSelect the × beside the caption (Remove for everyone), or press Delete on the selected line.
- STEP 3ConfirmRemove this caption? shows the caption. Select Remove, or press Enter. Select Keep, or press Esc, to leave it.
You have 6 seconds to undo
The line then says Removing for every listener in a few seconds. Until the countdown ends:
- Undo, or Esc, puts the caption back.
- Remove now, or Enter, sends the removal at once.
When the countdown ends, the line says Caption removed for every listener.
