InterScribe turns what is said at your event into captions, translations and voices, so your audience can follow in their own language.
What it does
Your audience joins from a link, a QR code or an access code. They read captions, pick a translation language and, where you turn it on, listen to an AI voice or to a human interpreter.
After the event you keep summaries, transcripts and reports.
Who uses which part
- Organizers plan sessions, conferences, rooms and languages in the Portal.
- Operators run the event live from the Console.
- Interpreters work from the Booth, one per language channel.
- Your AV team sends the room's audio with the desktop agent.
- Your audience listens and reads on the web or in the mobile app.
How the pieces connect
- STEP 1The roomA microphone or mixer carries the sound from your venue.
- STEP 2The agentThe desktop agent sends that sound to InterScribe over your internet connection.
- STEP 3Captions, translations and voices
InterScribe recognizes the speech, translates it into the languages you chose and, if you use them, speaks it with an AI voice. A human interpreter can take a language channel instead.
- STEP 4Your audienceListeners see captions and hear audio on their own phones and laptops.
Where to go next
- Your first event in 15 minutes: get sound in, create a session and go live.
- How the pieces fit together: rooms, channels, sessions, the Console and the Booth.
- What you need: the role, plan, computers and connection to check first.
If something goes wrong during an event, the troubleshooting section starts from what you see.
