A known issue is a problem we know of and are fixing, with a way to work around it until the fix ships.

Where they appear

  • On the docs home. When there are open known issues, the home page shows Known issues · 1 open (or how many there are) with the newest one. Select it to read the page.
  • On each known issue's page. It says what goes wrong, who is affected, what to do until it is fixed, and which releases are affected.
  • In the release notes. The release that fixes a known issue lists it under Known issue resolved:.

When nothing is shown on the docs home, there are no open known issues.

An outage happening now

A known issue is not an outage. For something down right now, check the status page: in the Portal, Status page in the sidebar opens it. See Alerts and the status page.
