InterScribe translates your event as it happens. Everyone follows in their own language on their own phone: they read live captions or listen in their earbuds. This tour walks through an event from start to finish.
For churches: jump to chapter 5
How it works, the ways a guest can follow, and the screen they see on their phone. Try it yourself.
Everything new in this tour sits on top of the same idea you already know.
A speaker, a teacher, a host. Any microphone in any room.
Into 100+ languages, live: captions, a voice, or your own interpreters.
They scan a QR code. No app, no headsets, no sign-up to listen.
Every guest picks a language and a way to follow. Captions and your device's voice come with every plan. AI voice comes with hours every month on your plan.
Read along, line by line, in 100+ languages.
The phone's own text-to-speech reads the captions aloud. Clear, a little robotic.
A natural, human-sounding voice interprets into each guest's language, straight into their earbuds.
Your own interpreters, speaking live from the Interpreter Booth, their page in InterScribe. Guests can also pick room audio: the original sound from the room.
Your plan sets how many hours of AI voice you get each month. Need more for a big event? Add a top-up. See plans and pricing
Pick a language, then a way to follow, and press Play to hear it. The tabs along the top are what every guest gets.
Set up your rooms, your settings and the page guests arrive at. Invite your interpreters and print signs with QR codes for your volunteers.
A room is where your sessions happen: the main hall, a classroom, a breakout room. Each one has a permanent link and QR code, its own channel and, if you like, an access code. Print its QR once and it always opens today's session. Then choose how each session starts.
Goes live when a guest opens captions, from 15 minutes before the start to 30 minutes after the end. Pauses when nobody is listening.
Print it once. It always opens what's on in that room.
Named after the room, like CH-01 · Main hall, so sound never crosses rooms.
With On demand, a room can wait all day and use hours only while someone is listening.
Plan many sessions across days and rooms. Each room keeps its own channel, so guests in Room B never hear the Main hall. Our new desktop apps send each room's sound: installed once on a dedicated computer, they're built to run all day.
Languages, voices, chat, summaries, vocabularies: set them in Event Defaults. A new conference starts as a copy, and each new session starts from its conference or your defaults. Pick a level.
Your workspace-wide starting point.
Began as a copy of your Event Defaults. Changes apply only to this conference.
Starts from your Event Defaults or its conference. Change one session only.
One per spoken language. Its words are recognised from the first minute.
One list of your speakers, with photo, organisation and bio. Add them to a session or a whole conference, and guests see who's talking.
Your event page, which we call the front door, is where guests arrive: your logo, your colour, your own domain. It lists what's live, what's coming and, if you allow it, past sessions. Run more than one: one per location, department, school or brand.
Do you want to allow users to see past sessions? Replays, summaries and Ask AI across past sessions.
Interpreters have a dedicated view: the Interpreter Booth, and nothing else. No dashboard, no billing, no events to wander into. They can start on their own, even without an operator.
Print once. Every piece carries a QR code to your front door or a room, so it always shows today's event. Download the PDFs, or send the kit by email to up to 10 volunteers.
Add InterScribe as a connector in ChatGPT, Claude or another AI assistant, sign in and choose your workspace. Then just ask: create sessions, set languages, get share links, start and end events, pull transcripts and summaries, invite members.
What guests see and do while you're live: on any screen, with questions and polls, notes, slides in their language and sign language.
Guests open the same link on a phone or a computer, in the room or from home. Nothing to install. Attach your YouTube or Vimeo link and guests at home watch the video right inside InterScribe, with captions and voice in their language. One tab, not two.
Buenos días y gracias por estar aquí.
Hoy veremos lo que viene para nuestro equipo.
A QR code or a link opens it in any modern browser.
Attach a YouTube or Vimeo link to the session. No second tab to juggle.
New apps for phones and tablets are on the way. The browser page has everything today.
Questions, chat and polls arrive in each person's language. Switch on what suits your event.
Ask the room, in every language at once.
Ask in any language, upvote, read the reply.
Everyone writes in their own language.
Short answers from what was said, with links back.
Good teams don't start with a plan. They start with trust.
Tap a line to keep it.
Private notes beside the captions.
Stepped out? Read the gist in seconds.
A recap afterwards, in their language.
Missed a name? Lost the thread? Guests ask Ask AI in their own language and get a short answer drawn from what was actually said, with a link back to the moment. Try a question.
Ask in Korean about a talk given in English. The answer comes back in Korean.
Every answer cites when it was said, so guests can check it.
With Past Sessions on, guests can ask across your earlier sessions too.
Organizers see every question live, never who asked.
What your audience wants to know, as they ask it. It's the best feedback you'll get: what wasn't clear, what they want more of.
In the app, guests double-tap a caption line to highlight it, or tap it for more: add a note, copy it, or highlight it. Everything a guest keeps waits in their Highlights and Notes, in their language. Here, tap a line on the phone to try it.
Signed-in guests keep highlights and notes across devices, and after the session ends.
Connect your presentation software once. Each slide reaches every phone as the same slide: the same picture, the same layout, with its words in that person's language. In the room or at home.
Slides arrive inside the captions, labelled Slide. Switch the view to compare the translated slide with the original.
Same picture, same layout, same design. Only the words change, into each participant’s language.
On the computer that shows your slides. About five minutes, once.
In the session, or in your Event Defaults for every session.
Slides go out by themselves, every session after that.
A display is a link that shows live captions and translations. Paste it into ProPresenter or OBS once, or open it on a TV. It follows the room's sessions from then on. Change its look and every screen updates.
Scrolling lines over your slides or video, transparent everywhere else. Best for ProPresenter, OBS, FreeShow and livestreams.
Add a sign language to a session. Your sign-language interpreter goes live from a camera link, or you use a video you already produce. Guests choose the sign language and see the interpreter in a window next to the captions.
Signing always comes from a person you arrange. Sign language is in Beta: ask us to switch it on for your workspace.
Good morning, and thank you for being here.
Today we're looking at what's next for our team.
Where your team watches every room, looks after the chat, answers calls for help and hears about a problem the moment it starts.
The dashboard shows every live session at once, with its health. Four live tools are always one click away in the menu on the left: the Operator Console, the Interpreter Booth, the Audience desk and Backstage. Tap the numbers to see what each one does.
Every session on air right now, side by side, with its languages and health. Room C has no sound? You see it here first.
The Audience desk is where your team moderates chat, Q&A and polls while you're live, and sends cards: ready-made messages that drop into the chat.
Card kinds: Question, Quote, Link, Image, Announcement and Custom, each with up to 6 buttons. Church tools add more kinds (chapter 5). Pin a card for a time, until removed, or until the session ends.
Backstage is your private help desk during events. Interpreters, your team and, if you allow it, your guests send requests. Guests use “Ask the organizer” on the guest page. Your responders see every request with the person's name, and reply in seconds.
Most live problems start before the sound reaches us: a dropped Wi-Fi connection, a streaming computer that went to sleep, a cable unplugged at the sound desk. While you're live, InterScribe checks every minute and sends one alert by text or email, then an all-clear when it's fixed.
A room has a live event, but no sound is coming in.
The computer is connected, but it's sending silence: check the mixer or cable.
Sound arrives but nothing is being transcribed.
Print a status sticker for each desk computer. Anyone who scans it sees live whether that agent is sending, and can change nothing. Problems get spotted in the room, not afterwards.
Replays, summaries and the numbers: who listened, in which language, and how.
Record a session and offer the replay on your event page once it ends. Guests listen in their language, with an AI voice or their phone's own voice, or read the captions as they follow along.
Records the floor and every interpretation channel. Starts when the session goes live.
On your event page and front door, once the session ends.
Attach a YouTube or Vimeo link. Guests at home watch it inside InterScribe, live or later.
Signed-in viewers download the transcript after the session.
Translate a replay, summary or transcript into more languages after the event.
With summaries on, InterScribe writes a session summary in every language your guests used. Choose a summary template to decide its shape: yours, or one from the Community library.
Every session has its own analytics, minute by minute. Your front door adds the big picture across every event. Sample data below.
Most people were listening by minute 10, and stayed to the end.
Every question guests put to Ask AI, grouped into topics in the session report. You see what was asked, never who asked.
Guests rate the session and tell you how it's going from their phone: “It is going well”, “Captions behind”, “Hard to read”, or one tap on “I can't hear the interpreter”, which alerts the booth team right away. The report shows it by interpreter and voice.
The Bible in every guest's language, song lyrics, scripture on screen, and cards your team sends during the service. Turn them on in Settings with Scripture tools and church tools.
Turn on Scripture tools and InterScribe finds the verses the speaker cites. They become links in the captions: tap one and the Bible opens to that passage, in the guest's language. Tap the blue verse on the phone.
Choose a passage by book, chapter and verse. Highlight and add to notes.
Every passage cited, with the moment it was cited.
Pick the version for each language, or hide the Bible for one.
“Open passage on Bible.com” for any version guests prefer.
Abran sus Biblias conmigo.
Como dice, porque de tal manera amó Dios al mundo…
The parts of a service that aren't a sermon get the same care: songs, scripture on the slides, and the moments you invite people to respond.
Knows when the room starts singing: tags those captions and tells viewers a song is on.
Voice recognition can't follow singing well yet. Connect your slides and the lyrics arrive like captions, translated, so everyone sings along in their language on their phone.
Scripture on your slides becomes an easy-to-read card in the captions, with a link to open the passage.
ProPresenter, OpenLP, Holyrics and FreeShow connect directly; EasyWorship, Proclaim and MediaShout by screen capture.
Door signs, table cards and a sound desk checklist with your QR code. See Get ready.
Step-by-step guides, an AI assistant that answers your questions, and what we're building next.
Step-by-step guides cover everything in this tour and more, organized the way you work: before, during and after your event. Search them, or start from a topic.
Rather ask? Open Help in the app and ask Iris, InterScribe's AI assistant. Iris answers with steps and links to the guides. When your question needs a person, Iris passes it to our team, and the reply comes back to the same conversation and by email.
Here's what we're building next, and when.
