When your session has video and a listener also hears a voice (an interpreter, an AI voice or their device's voice), the two play together. The sound mix lets each listener set how loud each one is.
How the mix works
The voice plays over the video. While the voice speaks, the video sound drops; when the voice pauses, the video comes back up. Songs and room sound play under the voice instead of being muted.
Change the mix
- STEP 1Open SoundOn the listener page, select Sound. On a computer, the bar shows the current mix, for example Video 100% · AI voice 100%.
- STEP 2Set the voiceMove Voice to set the voice's volume.
- STEP 3Set the videoMove Video sound to set the video's volume.
- STEP 4Set the video under the voice
Move Video under the voice to choose how loud the video stays while the voice speaks. At Off, the video is silent while the voice speaks.
Check it worked
Play the session with a voice on. The video gets quieter when the voice talks and comes back up in the pauses.
