Captions, or a voice, come some seconds after the speaker.

Most likely: normal delay

Check: the lag next to each channel in the Console. It is how long that channel takes to follow the floor's newest caption.

Fix: a few seconds behind is normal on every channel. Recognising the speech, translating it and, on a voiced channel, saying it out loud each add a moment.

Next: one channel is behind and keeps falling further behind

Check: the channel's row says behind (from 3 s) or down (from 15 s), and its lag keeps climbing.

Fix: on an AI voice channel, open the channel's ⋯ menu and select Restart this channel. Its listeners hear nothing for a few seconds, captions resume from the live edge, and the backlog is discarded, not caught up. Other channels have no restart: note the time and contact support if the lag keeps climbing. See Voices in the Console.

Next: a slow connection on the Console computer

Check: the connection badge at the bottom right shows Slow or Poor.

Fix: improve this computer's connection: a cable, or a seat close to the router. See The connection badge.

Still not working

Note which channels are late and by how much, and contact support with the time and the session.
