A slide is sent once it has stayed on screen for two seconds by default, so quick clicks through a deck are not translated.

In OpenLP, open Settings → Configure OpenLP → Remote and check that the remote is on. Note the port (4316 by default).
Open the InterScribe desktop app on the same computer and sign in.
Under Slides, press Connect next to OpenLP, then Test to see the current slide.
Go live. Each slide you show reaches your viewers, translated.
