More than translation

Your audience doesn’t just listen. They take part.

The page that carries your captions also lets people chat, ask the speaker a question, vote, save the lines that matter and catch up on what they missed — each in their own language. Switch on what suits your event. Leave the rest off.

Chat, translated

Everyone writes in their own language and reads in theirs. Your team pins a welcome and sends quick cards like “Did this help?”.

Same page as the captionsThe real listener page · sample lines
  • One page, nothing to install

The QR code they already scanned for captions opens every tool here.

  • In their own language

Messages, questions, polls and the summary arrive translated, with the original one tap away.

  • On only when you want it

Chat, Q&A, polls and Ask AI are switched per event. The tabs follow.

  • Your team stays in charge

Review first, slow mode, blocked words, approve questions before they show.

The attendee’s day

Before, during and after — one link the whole way.

People open the session once. The same page shows what’s coming, carries them through the talk, and keeps what they saved for later.

1

Before

  • Add to calendar, share the linkA QR code and a link anyone can open in their own language.
  • Resources from youOrder of service, slides, a giving link, a workshop map — in the Session tab.
  • Start in their languageThe first screen offers “Start in Español” when that is what their phone speaks.
  • Ask the organizerA named request to your team — a seat near the front, a question about access.
2

During

Live
  • HighlightsDouble-tap a line to keep it. “Only my highlights” hides the rest.
  • NotesQuote the current line, add checklists, jump back to the moment.
  • Bible referencesEvery verse the speaker names becomes a chip; save and highlight passages.
  • ChatTranslated messages, pinned notices, pictures and quick cards from your team.
  • Q&A to the speakerAsk, upvote, see the team’s reply. Anonymous when you allow it.
  • Live pollsSingle choice, multiple choice or a 1–5 rating, with results when you choose.
  • Ask AIShort answers from what was said, with links to the moment it was said.
  • Catch up on what you missedJoined late or stepped out? The last ten minutes, in a few lines.

After

  • A summary in their languageWritten from the captions when the session ends, in the Summary tab.
  • Replay with captions and voiceTap any line to play from there. Search the transcript for a word.
  • Download the transcriptThe whole session in their language, as text or subtitles timed to the replay.
  • Highlights and notesThey need a free sign-in, which keeps them on every device after the session.
  • Ask across past sessionsOn your public portal: answers from its public sessions, with a link to the moment in each.
  • Rate the session“How well could you follow in Español?” One tap, straight to you.

For your team

An open room, with you at the door.

Every tool has an off switch, a calm default and a moderator’s view. You decide per event; Event Defaults set the starting point for your whole workspace.

  • Chat moderation

Open, Review first or Paused. Slow mode per viewer, blocked words, reported messages in one Review list, block a person for the workspace.

  • Polls you set up ahead

Drafts ready before the talk. Results after the vote, always, or only when voting closes. Auto-lock from 30 seconds to an hour; one tap makes a poll signed-in only if votes arrive unusually fast.

  • Cards, pins and pictures

Pin a welcome, send a “Did this help?” card, share a picture of the whiteboard.

  • Private lines to your teams

Viewers can message a group you create — a prayer team, a help desk, the tech crew. “Only the prayer team sees this conversation.”

Questions

Everything people asked Ask AI, grouped by topic. Nothing says who asked. Answer one yourself and it replaces the AI’s answer.

How well they followed
4.6 / 5average from 86 ratings
Captions kept upAccurate translationHard to read

Listeners rate how well they could follow, in their language, and say what helped or got in the way. Interpreters never see who sent it.

Summary and polls

Locked polls keep their results. The summary follows the template you choose. And “Ask your sessions” searches what you’ve said, privately: “What have we told people about…”

Works in every language

Asked in Portuguese. Read in Korean. Answered once.

Chat messages, questions, the team’s replies, polls and their options, the catch-up and the summary all arrive in each person’s language. “See original” is always one tap away.

  • Your team answers in one language; everyone reads the reply in theirs.
  • Moderators see which language a question was asked in.
  • Upvotes count once per person, whatever language they read in.

The viewer’s question card, as the listener page draws it. What people write is translated; the page’s own buttons and labels are not.

Where it fits

Same tools, different rooms.

Where we stand

Understanding comes first. This is what comes with it.

Most live-translation tools stop at captions, a voice and a transcript. Most engagement tools work in one language. InterScribe puts both on the page your audience already has open — so the person reading in Korean can ask the question, vote and take the notes too.

If all you need is a voice in people’s ears, you can leave every tool here switched off. Nothing about the captions changes.

AI is labelled

Catch up, the summary and Ask AI say they are written by AI. Ask AI links each answer to the moment and says “This wasn’t covered” instead of guessing.

Questions about engagement

Talk to a person
Do attendees need an account?

No. Listeners need no account or app to read, listen or vote in a poll; highlights, notes and Ask AI need a free sign-in, which also keeps them on every device and lets people download the transcript. You decide whether asking the speaker a question or voting needs sign-in too.

Can we switch features off?

Yes, per event. Chat, Q&A, polls and Ask AI each have a switch, with your workspace defaults as the starting point. When one is off, its tab is simply not there.

Will Ask AI make things up?

It answers only from what was said in the session, links each answer to the moment, and says “This wasn’t covered in the session so far” when it can’t find it. Your team sees the questions, can flag an answer or write its own, which replaces the AI’s.

Who sees who asked?

For Ask AI, organizers see the questions, never who asked. In Q&A people ask by their chat name, or anonymously when you allow it. Even when you block someone who asked anonymously, you don’t see who they are.

How do we keep the chat kind?

Hold every message for review, slow the room down, add blocked words, or pause it. Viewers can report a message; it waits in your Review list with the reason.

Let them understand. Then let them join in.

Hear a sample of the captions and the voice, then see what your event would cost.
