Video translation terms

Version 2026-10-16

These terms add to the InterScribe Terms and Conditions for workspaces that use Video translation: importing videos, transcribing and translating them, AI voices (including voices made from a person's recordings), dubbing and lip changes. A workspace owner or admin accepts them for the workspace before it starts any Video translation work. If these terms and the Terms and Conditions disagree about Video translation, these terms apply.

1. Our providers

Video translation uses AI providers that work for us. AI voices, voice cloning and dubbing are provided by ElevenLabs (Eleven Labs Inc. and its affiliates). Our current subprocessors are listed in the Terms and Conditions.

2. How you may use Video translation

You use Video translation for your organization's own videos and audiences. You may not:

  • resell Video translation, or offer it to another business so that it can offer it to others;
  • use it for a government or public body unless we have agreed to that in writing first;
  • use it for political campaigning, or to mislead people about an election or how to vote;
  • make a voice or lip changes from a person's recordings without that person's explicit, informed consent, recorded through Video translation's consent link, or from the recordings of anyone under 18;
  • impersonate a person or organization, or suggest that someone endorses something they do not;
  • create content that sexualizes or harms minors, that is sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, threatening or violent, or that promotes self-harm, terrorism or other serious harm;
  • commit fraud, run scams, or create fake evidence or testimony for any legal, regulatory or insurance proceeding;
  • expose people's private information, or use voices to identify or profile people;
  • remove or hide the notice that a video was translated with AI, or any watermark or provenance signal;
  • get around usage limits, safety checks or access controls, scrape the service, or use it or its output to build or train a competing AI model or product;
  • break any law that applies to you or your audience.

You must also follow the usage policies of the provider that serves your request. For voice work that is the ElevenLabs Terms of Service and Prohibited Use Policy (elevenlabs.io/terms-of-use and elevenlabs.io/use-policy). Where they are stricter than these terms, they apply.

You are responsible for the videos and recordings you upload, for having the rights to them, and for how your team uses Video translation.

3. Your data

You let us, and the providers in section 1 (with their affiliates and subcontractors), process and use the videos, recordings, text and other data you submit, only to provide, secure and support Video translation. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

4. Our providers' rights

You agree that:

  • ElevenLabs is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them directly against you;
  • neither you nor we are ElevenLabs' agent, partner or joint venturer, and nothing here makes either of us one;
  • we make no promises about ElevenLabs' services beyond what these terms and the Terms and Conditions say.

5. Suspension

We may pause or end a workspace's use of Video translation, without refund for work not yet started, if it breaks these terms, if a provider asks us to, or if we need to protect people or the service. Videos already published stay available unless the content itself breaks these terms or the law.

6. Support and notices

We provide all support for Video translation; contact us, not our providers. We will tell you about provider notices that affect your use. We keep a record of who accepted these terms and when.

7. Changes

When we change these terms we publish a new version. A workspace accepts the new version before starting new Video translation work; work already finished is not affected.
