Live captions in every language, on every phone

  • 100+ languages included
  • No app needed

What the listener sees

Read it your way.

Captions arrive line by line, the newest at the bottom. Each guest sets the page up for their own eyes.

  • Large text, high contrast

Text size, font, line spacing and four themes, including Contrast and Night.

  • The speaker’s own words too

Show the original under each translated line, and see who is speaking when it changes.

What you do as the organiser

Teach it your words. Watch it live.

  1. 1Add names and termsPut speaker names, places and special terms in the glossary so captions get them right.
  2. 2Remove a line before it spreadsFrom the operator console, take a caption line off every screen, with a few seconds to undo.
  3. 3Every language, one priceGuests choose their own language on their own phone. Adding a caption language never changes your price.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    The speaker talks

Sound comes from your sound desk or a computer’s microphone.

  2. Step 2

    InterScribe writes it down

Each line is transcribed and translated into every language a guest chose.

  3. Step 3

    The guest scans and reads

They scan the QR code, pick a language and read along on their own phone.

Good to know

What live captions won’t do

  1. 1Speech, not singingCaptions follow speech best. When the room sings, lines can lag or miss words.
  2. 2Not a certified translationTranslation is done by AI and can get a phrase wrong. For words that must be exact, check them, or bring an interpreter.
  3. 3The sound has to reach usA steady upload connection at the venue matters more than strong Wi-Fi. Clean sound from the desk beats a microphone across the room.
