Hybrid Event Solutions

One Event, Two Audiences, Zero Language Barriers

Deliver seamless multilingual experiences to both in-person and virtual attendees. Same live interpretation, same engagement tools, unified hybrid experience. Captions and translation support 100+ languages out of the box.

The Hybrid Event Challenge

Creating a truly equal experience for both in-person and remote attendees is hard. Add multiple languages to the mix, and most solutions fall apart.

❌ Traditional Approach: Two Separate Experiences

  • • In-person gets professional interpreters with radio receivers
  • • Virtual often gets basic auto-captions only
  • • Remote attendees feel like second-class participants
  • • Two different systems = double the cost and complexity

✅ InterScribe: Unified Experience

  • • Same interpretation for venue and virtual attendees
  • • 100+ language captions and translation by default
  • • Device TTS audio + optional AI-enhanced audio for key languages
  • • Same QR code / link access method
  • • Same chat, Q&A, and engagement tools

Illustrative Example: Equal Experience, Anywhere

Hybrid fails when in-person gets the "full" experience and remote gets a watered-down version. A strong pattern is to keep your video platform, and add a single multilingual layer attendees can open anywhere.

In-room

QR codes on screens -> language on phone -> earbuds for audio.

Remote

Watch on Zoom/Teams + open interpretation in a separate tab.

After

Replays + transcripts for global time zones and compliance.

Example only; outcomes vary by setup and content.

Hybrid Event FAQs

Do I need to stop using Zoom/Teams for hybrid events?

No! Keep using your existing video platform. InterScribe adds a multilingual interpretation layer on top. Virtual attendees watch video on Zoom/Teams and access interpretation via InterScribe's link.

How do in-person attendees hear interpretation without disrupting others?

They use earbuds with their phones (discreet and silent to those around them). Much cleaner than distributing, collecting, and sanitizing hundreds of radio receivers.

What if some in-person attendees don't have smartphones?

Provide tablets at registration for them to borrow. Many venues keep 10-20 tablets charged and ready. Alternatively, display live captions on venue screens for those who prefer reading.

Can virtual attendees interact with in-person attendees during Q&A?

Yes. InterScribe's multilingual Q&A combines questions from both audiences. Moderators see all questions (translated to English), and answers are translated back to each attendee's language.

How much internet bandwidth does InterScribe require?

Captions and audio are designed to be lightweight, but bandwidth needs vary by device, network conditions, and how your event is set up. Virtual attendees still need normal broadband for video (from Zoom/YouTube).
